Long power cables and other similar structures are susceptible to forces from many unforeseen influences – excavators digging a new road, an anchor being pulled behind a boat, earthquakes, etc. By integrating a Luna EN.SURE next to your cables you now have the possibility to monitor your cables and assess damages that may be forced upon them.

The EN.SURE is a series of controllers for distributed structure monitoring (DSM) that is based on proprietary Brillouin measurement technology. Its major advantages are the excellent distance range and measurement performance in combination with the passively cooled and maintenance-free industrial design. It exhibits a superior strain and temperature resolution and accuracy in comparison to other technologies. The excellent performance is achieved in both, single- and double-ended fiber configurations.
