TJC has completed its acquisition of Luna Innovations, the parent company of LIOS. The transaction became effective on September 18, 2026, marking a new phase for Luna and its sensing technology businesses.
For LIOS customers and partners, our focus remains on delivering distributed fiber optic sensing solutions and support for critical assets. LIOS’s distributed temperature sensing (DTS) and strain sensing technologies help operators monitor power cables, industrial facilities, and other infrastructure across long distances.
As part of Luna’s broader sensing portfolio, LIOS will continue to contribute its temperature and strain monitoring expertise alongside Luna’s acoustic sensing capabilities. We look forward to supporting customers worldwide as Luna begins this next phase under TJC ownership.
